Chicken Drumsticks
Baking chicken as a casserole is one of the easiest dinners you can make in my opinion! Using chicken drumsticks is a great way to also have a frugal friendly meal! I can purchase a pack of 15 organic chicken drumsticks for around $10.00 which makes a steal of a deal to make this meal. We are just using the chicken drumsticks to make the freezer meals portion.
2 Meals for 1.
2 meals for 1! Another amazing way to stretch this meal making it great for a cheap and easy dinner! Being such a simple dish, we can simple double or triple the ingredients and make many servings.
What I typically like to do is make a meal for the day, and one for the freezer. That way I'm already in the kitchen cooking this meal, I just have to cut extra onions, pour some extra sauce etc., and I end up with another meal for another day. I end up with two meals, one that I'm able to enjoy right away and the second or third I can remove from the freezer for when needed.
